Armstrong Laminate Floor

Can I install a floating laminate floor (possibly Armstrong) over existing linoleum on a slab in a bathroom?

If so, how can I do this? Is there any prep work involved with my existing floor? I will not remove my existing floor because it most likely contains asbestos, so that is not an option.

I appreciate anyone’s advice!!!

You most certainly can put it over the vinyl flooring. I m sure it isn t lino because lino is made from natural products. Any way, The vinyl down now must down tight and the flooring flat . Must be level to a certain degree but being flat is more important..
As far as prep is concerned, the stool must be pulled and and 1/4 round or shoe molding taken off.. Or take off the base molding and replace if vinyl is under that, or add a shoe molding after wards..Any questions you can e mail me, I ve done a few 100,000s/f of laminates.. GL
