How do you attach a laminate countertop to base cabinets?

if you are putting on a new counter top
you screw up through the base there should be a strip of wood on the top at the front and back or triangle pieces in the corners with a wood screw check by measuring first that the screw is shorter than the counter top and piece on the base usually the base is 1/2 inch to 5/8 and the counter is 3/4 to an inch so your screw if its bigger than 1 1/4 inches will go through your new counter top on the thin end of the scale assuming that the bases have been leveled and shimmed and the top has been matched to the wall then you should be good to go
