Laminate Floor Saw
Laminate Floor Saw
Should I use a Circular Saw or Table Saw for Laminate Flooring install?
Hi, I want to install a 12mm High Gloss Laminate, from LL and I want to know want would be the best tool to cut the laminate. would need straight and diagonal cuts made for my space. if you could point (link) to the specific tool I need that would be even better thank you all.
Laminate planks would need to be cut length wise as well about 2ft to 4 ft so a miter saw, doesn’t look like a good solution.
Your best over all saw to use would be a table saw. If you have a guide with it all the better. This will cut both the long rips and the angles once you mark them. Suggestion.. Use a fine point marker to make the mark on the angles.. Table saw can be used to do the “L” cuts around doors and such if needed/ Since most planks are approx 8″ a miter saw doesn t work well. I mark my boards with a large speed square. This tool will also help with your angles.
Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar.. I ve installed a few 100.000 s/f of laminate.. GL
