Laminate Flooring Cleaning


What is the best way to clean laminate flooring and make it shine. I’ve read that it should not be washed with?

water.
I’ve used a Swiffer and while it cleans, it doesn’t give it the shine I’m looking for.

I use Zep on my laminate flooring. When I clean my floors, I spray Zep and I spray an equal amount of water. I work in small areas about 3 feet by 3 feet. I use a clean micro fiber mop and mop the area until all the moisture is absorbed. It works well for me. I use the water to dilute the Zep or it comes out dull. As long as you don’t use a bucket of water and let it stand on your floors, it is fine.

I have the above dust mop, it is a velcro attached mop head. I have several that I change out and wash them without bleach, or softener in the wash. I do not add any dryer sheets to the dryer when I dry them.

Do not use polish, orange glo or anything like that…the floors become too slippery.
