Laminate Mop
Laminate Mop
Is It safe to use a steam mop and laminate wood floors?
My husband thinks it seems to be making the seams separate, but i can’t tell and I don’t want to quit using the mop and i don’t want to ruin the floor.
The concern would be to subjecting the wood to excessive moisture. From what I’ve seen of the steam mops, this doesn’t appear to be an issue. The seams or spaces between your flooring is caused by the wood shrinking from being too dry. This is common over the winter when the humidity is real low in some homes. Wood is not an inert product, it grows and shrinks with changes in the environment that it is in. Stay Safe
